B2620 quote. Sound fair?

This is not for me, but for my brother in law. I'm kind of helping him with the differences in tractor brands. He looked at Mahindra and Deere and decided on the Kubota. The 3 range HST is really what pushed him to Kubota after her tried the other 2 range machines. I had him look at the JD 2320 and 2520. I was blown away by the price. JD 2320 with loader and belly mower - $17032. JD 2520 $19,053, and both of these quotes were minus the tiller. I thought to myself, "how in the heck can JD compete with those prices".

Can't speak to the tiller, but the quote on the tractor, loader, and mower looks pretty good!

Well, my brother in law took his wife to the dealers to look at the tractor. I guess she told him he might as well get the 2920 for $700 dollars more - I told him not to argue.

So that makes his final package:

B2920 w 364 loader, 60" MMM, 50" Landpride tiller, loaded R4s - $17,932.

I just wish prices like that were possible for me. Basically tractors around here go for MSRP. My B2620 + 364 loader was $15,400 before taxes. They tossed in loaded tires and 3 FEL hooks (nicely reeinforced) for free, along with free labor on the 50hr service. They wouldn't quote me a 48" tiller less than $2050. I went with the KK II from TSC, usually $1349, but I got 10% off (plus a big extra) during a sales event, so it was $1199.

Another dealer quoted a few hundred dollars less, but without any of the above freebies tossed in, plus they are a lot further away.

The 3rd dealer wanted $16,600 + tax for the same configuration. I'm pretty sure they charge over MSRP, and aren't really looking for new business.
