Jared -
If you could fill out some more of your profile - that would help us give you more informed answers.
That being said - since you say "your house is almost finished" - it sounds like the tractor is not playing any (major) part in it's construction - am I correct in assuming you are looking for a "mower first" - with FEL capacities second?
If so - then the most relevant questions to ask yourself are:
1) Do you have lots of obstacles (bushes, rocks etc) to mow around?
2) Do you plan on doing extensive landscaping - specifically grading / boxblading?
First question: mowing obstacles
the
B2410 BiSpeed Turn will likely be a dream if you have a tricky yard. However - as you seem to *just* be completing your house - I'm assuming the landscaping is therefore not complete. With a bit of care when placing bushes etc. - the necessity of a tight turning mower may be eliminated altogether.
I find my
B7610 (without the BiSpeed turning) VERY manueverable - as moving forward / backward with the HST pedals quickly becomes almost second nature. Even though it is likely TWICE the size (length / height / width - and weight) or my old Sears 12 hp riding mower - I find it MUCH easier to mow with - and find it leaves the lawn with a better appearance after mowing!
Following the K.I.S.S. rule - unless you have a specific NEED for the BiSpeed turning - it seems to me like another layer of complexity in terms of long term care / maintenance. Take the
B2410 for a spin - then take a
B7610: does the "extra tight turning" make that much of a difference?

Question two: extensive landscaping
One of the B2410s *highlights* (as a Deluxe model) - is the "position control" of the 3PH - whereas the
B7510 /
B7610 (standard models) - only have a "quarter inching" control.
If you plan on levelling a large area with a BB - or perhaps rototilling a good sized garden - then the position control of the
B2410 would be worth it. But if you don't have any need specific need for it - then the quarter-inching control will probably be sufficient.

When I did my research before purchasing my
B7610 - I had originally settled on a
B2410 (but WITHOUT the BiSpeed turn) - mainly because it offered a slightly higher 3PH lift capacity. But when my local dealer didn't have any B2410s available - the
B7610 has the same engine, FEL etc. I only wish the
B7610 had a cup holder..... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Last thought: if you don't plan on having a "maze of obstacles" - so no tight mower turning requirements - you might want to consider a rear finish mower instead of the MMM. It should be considerably less than the MMM at the same width - allowing you of course to buy more attachments for the same money! Plus it would likely be easier to mount / remove when switching tractor jobs. Just a thought.
(I have lots of things to mow around in my yard - so I went with the MMM - click thru the pics I have linked in my signature - I show how I remove my MMM without too much difficulty. If you keep all 4 wheels on the ground - it becomes MUCH harder to do!)
Sounds like you will be "seeing orange" shortly in any event! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Cheers,
Dan
(Edit) PS: The
B2410 - while nice - is only *half* (at best!) a tractor without a FEL. I'd go with the
B7610 / LA 352 FEL and a RFM - and you'll likely be way under the cost of adding a FEL to the
B2410. Once you see what you can accomplish with *just* a FEL - you'll shake your head that you considered a CUT without one! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Also - if you are financing - you will be able to get lower rates on the new
B7610 - as opposed to a used
B2410 - just *another* thought! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
