B2410 Purchased

Couldn't find my old post, but last summer we discussed which small frame tractor (NH JD or Kubota) was the best for various applications. I finally decided on a B2410. Found a 2002 model with 23 hours on ebay that did not sell. I called and eventually bought it, it has proven to be a nice unit. It now has 35 hours registered. It had a mmm and a powerful grass/leaf bagging system. I may sell the bagger on ebay this spring. Also, purchased a 4' brushog from Rural King, my 5' was a little large for the Kubota, would hardly lift it high enough especially in ditches. Bottom line is this is a nice tractor. Went with the B2410 over the B7800 because of the position control. Bypassed JD and NH because of a perceived lower center of gravity. I'm definitely not color blind, I have a JD mower NH and Kubota CUTs.

have had my b2400 for 3 years now and have found it to be relaible and all i expected it to be. think u will be pleased with it.

Love my Kubota 2410 even though it is not TBN PC to like Kubotas. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif. You will like your 2410 too. Did you get an FEL or are you going to use your NH for that work? J

Trescrows, I plan to use my NH loader but would buy a loader for the 2410 if the right deal came along. Local dealer said he may be able to locate a good used loader for $1200 to $1400, I told him I would take it. I doubt they come up with one though. Mine has a brush guard, will the loader interfere with the guard? I am also interested in suitcase weights as the front end is quite light with a brushog on. Anyone have some for sale or recommend an aftermarket source? Dealer had some ($42 for 45lb) but would have to be modified. I may buy 3 of the kubota weights (55lbs each for $65 including shipping). Do I need 3 or 5 weights, with a special bracket I can get 5 kubota weights to fit on?

Not sure what guard you have but the FEL mount incorporates a brush guard. I have seen home made weights up front but I do know Kubota sells a braket and weights. It would not be terribbly diffucult to make your own. J
