talk about frustrating - :(

we were trying to get the frame stiffener on tonight, and the simple (!!) first step was to remove both wheels --

well, they won't budge --

i took the nut off the bolt that holds the two expander-things in, then the pin and the holder dowel thing --

sorry, i don't know the correct verbiage for this stuff -- :|

anyway, everything in a "take this wheel off" stance, and she won't budge a mm --

-- what in the world should i do -- take it to my dealer to get the lovely wheels off?

i feel a bit broken -- :|

thanks!

If you've loosened or removed the pinch bolt that squeezes the center onto the axle, and the center still won't move, tap a narrow chisel into the slot to force it to spread and loosen. Hopefully then it will slide right off. Spraying a little jizz-bang on the axle can't hurt either.

-- we got the frame stiffener on by some back-work and skinned knuckles -- :D

Hi! I recently had the same problem with my b-2100 and had to use lots of heat with my torch and a puller . With the puller installed with preasure on it , Heat the wheel hub untill it is really hot and cool it fast with cold water hose , this with a few taps with a big hammer, should release the bond. Sometimes a second heating is required . GOOD LUCK ! I will try to send a picture of my puller installed , if i can figure out how to do this .
