Heres the deal I've been offered: 97 B2150 Hydro with loader, 450 hours, turf tires, $10,000.00. Now the bad news, its a rental unit. Is this a good price?
What would a new B2410 with loader cost, around $15,000 I think. You have to ask yourself if the savings is worth the lack of a warrantee, and the uncertainty of how rough those 450 hours have been. On a rental unit my guess is plenty rough. At 8% interest your 2150 will cost you about $200 a month for 5 years, and the new 2410 will be around $300 a month. If this is a once in a lifetime purchase, maybe the peace of mind is worth the extra bucks.
There's a wealth of Kubota shopping knowledge on this board, but the deals seem to vary on a region by region basis.
If you're on the west coast, I can put you in touch with someone who can give you a knowledgeable answer to your question and possibly find you an even better deal. If you're in some other part of the country, there are other folk here who can help.
In Aug. of '99 we sold our B2150 with the same equip. plus a 60" mid-mount mower for $13,500.Tractor was a '94 model with about 650 hrs. So,I would say the price your talken is in the ballpark.
