My neighbor owns a B2150 with 3 range hydro and 540/748 PTO. When the clutch pedal is depressed, it sounds as if a clutch release bearing (or maybe flywheel pilot bearing) is is going out. It is a loud metal "ringing" type noise.
As this has a hydro, would it have a single-stage clutch with a release bearing? It seems like an early failure for a tractor with 1000 hours. If so, it would be good to split it now before the bearing seizes and takes out the clutch release fingers.
Thanks in advance.
