B21 started fine at dealer, would not start this morning

I turned the key off and removed it before leaving the dealer.

It had to be jump started this morning.

Could I have left anything on with the key turned off?

Also is the starting procedure to turn the key to the spot right before the starter cranks for 10 seconds to allow the glow plugs to warm up then crank? On the other Kubota I have used the key turned to the left for 10 seconds before cranking. This key will not turn to the left.

I guess it's possible..you'll need to charge the battery and check for anything on.....it's possible the tractor sat a while and the dealer just threw a charge on it before you tried it at dealers...or maybe they knew it needed a battery and just didn't tell you (hope it ain't that one) I had that happen to me buying a car years ago.

My L35 key turns just one way..the on position, before crank position, cycles the glowplugs. An older J Deere I had cycled the glowplug by turning the key left..then started by turning it right.

Charged the battery and it seems fine now.

To start the clutch must be in, the forward backward pedals must be centered, the key needs to be in the glow plug warming position just before it cranks for 10 seconds then crank.

It had only run 4 hours since the oil was changed in January. Hopefully that was the battery problem.

On my B2400 the only thing that will work with the key off are the flashers, head lights will go off when key is off, and also i have to turn key to right just before crank to activate glow plugs.
