Kubota B1750 HST
I have a kubota B1750 HST 650 hours. The only problem I have with it is that the hydrostat pedal is hard to move. Also when I press it to go forward and then let off of it, it does not return back to "neutral". It also does the same in reverse. I have greased the zerk on the pedal itself and it really has not helped. Is there a spring on the linkage somewhere that needs cleaning/replaced?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

have a simalar issue on my BX24. but its not hard to move. IF i dont grease it every 10 hrs or so it will start to "freeze up " not move back to neutral. I checked the forums here and it seems to be an HST kubota issue and supposely its fixed with the BX25 HST. so i checked my HST linkage and everything seems to be moving smoothly, the only thing i see the spring dampener seems to be undersized or oversized not sure which.

Maybe look underneath and check out all the linkages to make sure they are all in working order.

My Kubota B7100 HST has a roller that centers in a v notch. If the roller is not in the notch properly it acts just like your you stated your tractor does.:D

Yes there are various bits under the pedal to help centre the pedal. The main thing as i recall without looking is the 'neutral holder'. Heres the diagram from the B1550. (Its probably the same on the 1750)

I guess Part no 050 adjusts the pedal by winding the nuts up and down, although I admit i've never actually needed to do it myself.

You can download the a free 1750 manual from kubotabooks...

Kubotabooks.com

I think theres been a few threads about this so do a few searches.

I was just looking at the parts manual for the B7100HST, and it looks the same as the B1750, just different index numbering.

My B7100 creeps backward when it is supposed to be in neutral --- annoying. How do you actually adjust this thing?

Thanks,
Jay

On the B7100 Hydro transmission just behind the right foot and accessed through a hole in the frame is a cover nut that can be removed to access a screw that will allow fine adjustment for the neutral point. On the diagram it looks like the screw # 140.

The roller #150 is the part that I would suspect. It sits in the v notch of part #010. If this is not positioned properly life can be miserable. Branches can get in and knock it out off position or the part #020 can loosen and allow the v notched part to slide out of position. Part #020 is accessed from the top. either a 10 or 12 mm nut.

050 is a spring for tensioning that is also accessed for the top for adjustment.

My trouble shooting skills are quite challenged so there is no guarantee as to the accuracy of this advice.:D:D:D

Thanks for all the input guys. I just bought the tractor 1 month ago and I am just getting used to it all. But I love it so far, TOUGH LITTLE TRACTOR! Couple of questions. What is the best way to tell if the roller is sitting properly in the v notch, and what is the easiest way to get my MMM out of the way (not really part of this thread). I have heard some say you can unlatch it and drive over it. It is the 60 inch MMM. Is this correct? Sounds a little suspicious to me.

I will try to work on it in the next couple of days.

thanks again

Hello
Thought Id drag up a old post as this explains the problem Im having exactly. (very sticky hst pedal not returning to neutral and hanging.)
When you talk about the "rocker" and "v groove" - do u access all these parts from underneath the tractor? . Im just a bit confused, as i take off the filter cover between my legs and see some linkages, but nothing really thats described in this thread. I also had a quick look from underneath and dont see it either

Thanks
Tim

I am having the very same problem - with the same tractor B1750. After greasing everything and messign with it for a bit I just got into a habit of putting HST in neutral everytime I need to get off the tractor. It is quick and safe.

I have to admit that I started doing after my tractor creeped on it's own into a horse gate and bent it a bit:D
