Re: B-7500 Won\'t crank. HELP

That could be the problem but I won't know until I go back up there today. It seems that I might have hit the PTO lever as I was getting off the tractor. I hope so anyway. If that's not it I'm lost.I'll let you know this evening.

Re: B-7500 Won\'t crank. HELP

Don,

Do what Bird suggested in his post above. This may solve your problem real quick.

And if that doesn't work, lay on the ground and look up under the tractor and you may find a broken wire or something stuck in where it should not be.

A lesson I learned sometime in the past is that you don't always have to understand how something works to fix it.

For example, if you look around and find something like a wire broken off, and can see where it came from, and can reconnect it, you can get something working without knowing exactly what you did. Or a stick could be holding something in the wrong position, and simply removing the stick could be the fix.

Hope you get that tractor running without too much pain... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: B-7500 Won\'t crank. HELP

Thanks, it was very simple. The PTO was in the 540 range. I must have hit the lever when I was getting off the tractor. I now have the job done and the tractor is back home safely.
Thanks again for all your help.

I had a (no start) event today also with my B2710.

I followed the advise of Bird & Henro in above posts and crawled under
tractor and observed sluggish movement of the HST linkage and light contact of safety switch. sprayed everything with WD40 and worked the HST pedal vigoriously, now contact with switch has improved and tractor started /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif ....RayBee
