Hello fellow garden tractor owners,
1). I have a AYP 4200V-44 in a Statesman skin, this thing is a beast. I am new to garden tractors and need some help in selecting a snow blade (plow). I am not sure what the mount is called in the front, there seems to be different mounts for different styles of mowers. Could someone point me the right direction as to which plow and mount will work with my garden tractor? I mounted Carlisle chevron style tires this morning and they pull and look great. Also I have many 3 point attachments (not sleeve) but no 3 point hitch, which one do I need for this mower?
2). I have a craftsman suburban with the 3 point hitch with many attachments for it. The Onan engine needs more help then I am willing to give it. It smokes badly but still runs until I robbed the coil to put on my Miller welder with the same engine. I am thinking of repowering with a Launtop 10hp diesel. Also Harbor Freight has a gas v twin for $700. This tractor will no mow, only ground engaging implements will be used. Anything wrong with the diesel idea? I would be looking to sell the Onan to offset the cost.
Thank for all the help in the past. There is a huge amount of knowledge on this board.

J.R.
