awkward 3016

Did anyone with a 3016 gear with shuttle find it awkward to use at first? I'm coming from a tractor with shift lever between your feet. I could shift faster than the shuttle feature. Also my present tractor has 2 levers for the fel instead of the one joy stick which I do not seem to like as much. The accelerator pedal seems to be in an unergonomic place seemingly too far from the brake pedals so you cannot just pivot your foot on its heel to go from one to the other. Just not finding this tractor naturally comfortable and was wondering if anyone had the same experience but got used to it.

But I also wonder how an operator can possibly use the pivot brakes while moving forward or rearward without having the so-called cruise control set; I just leave them fixed together.

The FEL on my rig is mounted onto the front of the right fender; making it difficult to mount the tractor from the right side, but from what I hear, tractors expect a rider to mount-up from the left side because most riders' wear their sabre on their left side....:dance1:

I "moved-up" from an ATV with a snow-blade so it will be a while before the "honey-moon" with my tractor ends....
