Over the last couple days I have thought about and wanted to reply to

I guess I missed something...seemed OK to me to the end.

I just wanted to tell the origninal poster that I did not have a dog, but I grew up with one.

I do not think he got it. He doesn't understand...Probably never will...

I don't have a dog, won't have one in the house...but I do know what I believe it is the truth...there is a lot of reasons why "Man's best friend" came about...

"Pet" is close to a dirty word in my book...

Bill as far as I'm concerned that thread started on a sour note and it was deteriorating even faster.

Someone else must have saw trouble brewing also to shut it down as quickly as they did.
