Auxiliary hydraulics on Kubota ZD28

I would like to add aux hydraulics to my ZD28 to run a hydraulic motor. Can anyone help to get me started?

Give us full details on what you have , model, Hyd pump GPM, etc.

Are you wanting to add a hyd valve to your hyd drive system?

What do you have now, two hydro pumps?

That is a Zero turn mower correct?

What size hyd motor, and how much HP do you need the motor to develop?

What is the pressure rating on your current pumps?

Do you have enough space for a hyd pump to be driven off the fan belt?

Thanks for the quick reply but, I guess I need to do more research just to answer all of your questions. It is a zero turn mower and I do want to add a hyd valve to the existing system to power a hyd motor. I'm not sure how to figure out how many GPM or HP I need. What I want to do is make a rolling floor, powered by a hyd motor in a grass/leaf collector trailer that is pulled by the ZD28 for ease of unloading. No, there is not any place to mount a pump on the fan belt. I'll get back to you with info on the existing system.

If your engine is a small 3 or 4 cyl diesel, then I would think it could handle the aux pump.

Here is a small hyd pump mounted to the engine of my 4 cyl gas engine on my Power-Trac. This is a Barnes 3000 psi pump, about 3 GPM's.

The ZD28 has 2 Kubota hydro units, one for each side with a charge pump driven by the engine. I would not think i would want to tamper with taking flow from the charge pump to drive a motor, but i could be wrong.

Do you have a hyd schematic/flow chart for your mower?

Is your deck spindles driven by hyd motors?
