I mounted 2 - $12 utility/tractor lights on the loader grille guard and one on the rear SMV mount behind the seat and powered them off the fuse box and used a marine waterproof toggle switch to power all three simultaneously. It was just right for how I used my tractor. I placed the lights on the bar just below the top to give them some protection and keep them out of my eye line from the driver's seat.
They've been on there now for almost 10 years and work great. I got the flood style (not spot) lights with prismatic lenses. You can buy them for peanuts from just about anywhere and they have a rubber housing. I mounted them on the LA6480 loader frame and put a disconnect on the wire harness I made so I could easily leave the lights with the loader but still have the back facing lamp.
I had initially considered mounting them all on the ROPS but decided that the glare on thd hood from the lights over my head would be a problem and I'm really glad that I pushed them to away from the driver's position as you can see great with no snow-blindness.
