When writing up a post, AUTOSAVE pops up.

What is AUTOSAVE and where is it saved.

It shows up in the bottom right corner.

How do you recover the post if something happens?

I can't help with the details, but here's an example of how it can work.

Suppose I am composing a message and I leave the thread before posting. When I return to the thread, I will see a message at the bottom left of the Reply area asking whether I want to restore the auto-saved content.

I figured it out, and it does exactly what you said.

I had never seen the restore part before.
