Automatic Gate Electronics Question

I am interested in installing an electronic/automatic gate. The issue is I want to be able to have different codes for different land owners who have access to the road behind the gate. In addition I would like there to be a logging mechanism that records the frequency/count of that owner using their code to open the gate. That could be a simple as a numerical count or a date/time of use. I have so far not seen anything like this nor have the companies whom I have contacted offered it as an option.

Anyone heard of this as an option on an automatic gate electronics package?

Not on gates but on doors. Try a card swipe type device you can give different people different cards and u can get counts as well as time in and time out

The gate system at a public storage center has multiple users each with their own codes and I'm guessing it logs access. It's probably significantly more expensive than a basic driveway gate system. It's a starting point if nothing else, maybe you can find a low end one of those type systems.

Viking gate openers is the brand and the place to purchase online is Gate Openers, Barrier Gate Openers, Automatic Gate Openers, Gate Operators, Slide Gate Operators, Swing Gate Openers, Electric Gate Openers, Solar Gate Openers. They are located in Texas and I have had great sales and service through them.

So back to the operator, I have the X9 and a G5. With the X9 I have a wired control panel that is programmable with 1000 code capacity, time of day control, captures all activity and more. I would be happy to help with any questions or just call these guys.

Thank you for the link I am going through their links and reviewing the products offered. However so far while they are a very nice product I have not seen in their 36 page manual where their access controllers track the frequency of that code usage or time/date of code usage for an individual. I will have to call the company and see what I am missing in their product information descriptions.

Regarding the opener, yes check with them directly but I do have one, its the hard wired one and. I can track all usage by code including specific date and time and can set up parameters for when access is granted or denied by code. I allow limited access to different people including utility company, shipping companies and a general code for friends I still have parameters when they can use the gate.
