I have a garage door opener just like that one but mine is broken. Has never operated like that. When I press my remote like the biker did my opener only gets one finger to go up.

That is how my tractor garage door opener works for the most part. Mine senses when I am coming in from field and opens the door by the time I am around the shop pulling up. It generally only works when I am putting the tractor away though, seems to have a glitch that causes it to be intermittent when I am getting the tractor out of the shop.... I think it may have something to do with having my paycheck direct deposited, not sure though.
