atv tire on trailer wheel?

Does anybody know if a 25x8-12 atv tire can be stuffed onto a 12x4 trailer rim? The tire has a rated rim width of 6". I'd like to build a trailer for my atv and can't find 12x6 rims with a 4x4 bolt pattern. I can step down to a 8" rim, but now the tires are smaller and fatter than I'd like.

Should be possible for off-road use. I would highly recommend tubing them though...
You might also look at 13" rims (from a older VW or Honda), I have a set of tires from a Honda Civic on the trailer we use for the RTV (seen below)

the early civics had 12's, I put tires on mine, opened the center up, and put them on an old tent trailer axle that had 8 in tires on it,, makes a great yard trailer now

I ended up using a 4x12 trailer tire. A bit narrow per the mfr specs, but the tire fits nicely.
