I'm relatively new to the tractor world and have a question regarding the front snow blade. I see how the blade attaches, however when I raise the hydrolic control, fluid squirts out of the rear nipple on the assembly? Should there me a plug on that nipple or is there a line that should be attached to route the fluid to the reserve? Please excuse the terminology, I'm trying to describe the problem best I can. Your help is appreciated.

I'm curious what you get for an answer.. I have the same thing on my BUCK. I have a nipple on the upper port. But sometimes the plow gets
air bound and I have to take the nipple off, raise the plow, then put the nipple back on. THen the plow works great. until it sits for a while and
gets air bound again.
I'd love to be able to route a new hose to the rear end and have a circulating system.

Anyone.???

There should be NO air lock as the hydro system will self bleed. I have found that all out myself. I also have a front snow plow, had to make my own ram bracket and mine works great with one exception. I had to add a chain and hook to lock the rear 3 pt to a limit before it would pull the plow up. I can't get any other info from anyone on this and the PO I think died. Its also a single hydro line if that helps any at all. One thing as far as what comes to mind on the fluid coming out is that it may be over filled. Check the fluid level and make sure the screen is clean at the same time.

Can't you just turn the knob under the seat to shut the rear 3pt off..? Thats what I do when I plow. That way I'm only running fluid to the front.
That keeps the rear 3Pt from moving at all.. Its nice..
