Ariens IKON X52 or Gravely XTX 52

Those are the 2 choices, not interested or can I afford anything bigger or more expensive. The mowers actually look like they come off the same assembly line. The Ariens is $3k at HD at the Gravely is $3,200 with the Kawasaki. Any thoughts on these 2 mowers? Sold my Toro yesterday and going shopping today.

I went to my local Gravely dealer yesterday. He is a family friend. The Ariens and Gravelys are the same units produced in the same factory. He has issues with Home Depot bought units that folks want serviced at his Gravely dealership. He's has all the business he can service now with his own customers. The Ariens are $200 less than the Gravelys on all models. Personally I would choose a mower with dealer service.

So my suspicions are confirmed, same mower, thank you. The other kicker is that if I apply for a HD credit card I get an additional 10% off, so that makes the Ariens $500 cheaper than the Gravely with the Kawasaki motor. That's a substantial savings then I can just pay it off when I get the first bill. If it's as good as my Toro it will never need service. Thanks for the info
