Possibly looking into a 3033R or 3039R with factory cab. Just wondering if everyone that owns one are happy with them? Any known issues?

I am mostly happy with my 3039R after 2 years. This is my 3rd JD and it is the right size for my 200 acres. I did not buy the front end loader so I have no experience with it. I already had a Bobcat so a loader would be a duplicate, but today I went to look into adding one since I might sell the Bobcat.

The cab and AC make summer mowing much nicer. Instead of a sweaty dusty hot experience I listen to tunes and putter around in cool clean air. I wouldn't get any of the lower HP models in the 3xxx series, especially if you want to run the air. After the first winter of no traction while plowing up hills I loaded the tires and added chains. It is fine now with the 366 plow on the front 3 point. Loading the tires also made it less bumpy while mowing rough areas. I think it helped offset the weight of the cab lowering the center of gravity.

The dealer is a pain in the butt. Normally a long backlog for repairs. When I bought it the front blade would drift down after only 50-100 feet of driving. After several visits they finally realized the SCV control valve was defective and replaced it curing the issue. I also get a frequent leak where the power steering hose goes into the cylinder near the axle. Driving loosens the connection too often. I need to try something on the threads. Yesterday I realized my other problem on the blade was due to the dealer installing the block where the hoses connect from the tractor to the blade 90 degrees off. The hose fitting hits when the blade is raised. I was looking for repair parts for the leaky elbow and saw the incorrect mounting on the part diagram.

I've had my 3033R Since Nov 16. It too is a cab model. As of this writing I have not had any problems. When I first researched the tractors, I was conflicted as to get what I got or the 3039R. I opted for what I got as I wasn't sure if I wanted a turbo, and the bulk of my work with the tractor was to mow six of my ten acres. As my property has a pretty good sized hill I worried about not having enough horsepower to tackle the hill while running the AC. This didn't turn out to be a problem. I go a little slower up the hill, but I don't think I'd want to go any faster, as I wouldn't want to bounce around any more. To help with saving horsepower, I bought a Meg Mow mowing blade system. I had used it on my previous tractor and noticed it didn't seem to rob the power of the engine as much as using regular blades. I now mow in comfort with the AC, and plow snow with the heat. I also don't have to suck in pollen and dust like I did when I had my open station tractor. Another problem I have is that I get my work done faster, so I don't get to be on the tractor as long! Also, since the majority of the work I do is mowing during the summer, I am running the tractor at a high RPM and as such it keeps the DPF filter cleaned out. I have as of yet had a Regen kick in. If I had to do things over again, I'd buy the same tractor.

I REALLY! wish there was a 3039R available in the southeast. I would love to look at one. Was given a very nice offer from the local dealer but they dont have a machine anywhere local to look at. John deere does NOT have the best website/specs for this model. I keep checking, maybe one will pop up locally.

I have the 3046 cab model witch is the same tractor as the 3033, and 3039 just a different engine.
I have had "o" problems, very nice tractor, cab is warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.

I only have about 100 hours on, but so far so good..

Just as a follow up, I recently found a used 3039R cab unit on a lot nearby. I liked it enough to order a new one. The used one was over priced, and had NO warranty left or I would have bought it. Dealer came back to me that JD has a delivery date of 2-15-2019 for a new one. After a lot of looking, and getting deere involved he was able to procure one from a dealer in Indiana, it was set to arrive yesterday. They have the loader (skid steer QD) being transferred over from a sister store and will have the unit ready for me next thursday or friday. I looked at a LOT of the small tractors, and I really liked them all in their own right but the JD seemed to be the best machine for me. I think with its small size, and bigger HP it will be very useful for me. I will post back on how the rest of the transaction goes, good luck to anyone else looking for one of these cabbed machines. It seems that as of last week there were 9 available at dealers in the US, of those 2 were in alaska and the rest were (at least claimed to be) spoken for. I hope its that good of a machine!

IT was delivered last friday, yes I LOVE the cab. Very nice, my allergies are rough right now so it makes the mowing bearable. Have about 15 hours on it now, and its functioning fairly well.
