Are there "stickied" threads? Saved, pertinent ones?

Howdy.

Many forums save threads, or mods cut and paste stuff so that some of the basic questions are easy to find. It appears we don't do that here. Can anyone verify that?

There are lots of stickied threads, mostly in the regional and general discussion forums. If you use the new posts option, they won't show up in the list, unless they have new activity since your last visit.
