Front-End Loader Are there loaders available for an old Kubota?

If I can, I would like to resurrect a topic that I saw from several years ago. I can get my hands on a 1983 Kubota B6100 HST 4WD that has a front mounted snowblower and a rear plow. Those attachments can help me but what I really want is a FEL. How difficult is it to find a loader that will fit this tractor? BTW...I am a newby to this forum and new to potentially owning a tractor. Thanks.

I looked for several years for a loader to replace the unit on my old L275,after working the old one too hard. The only viable thing I found was a brand new aftermarket, which was >$3000 before delivery.
That's the biggest reason I now own a 2015.

Before FELs, Dirt Scoops were used for dirt work. Scoops are still readily available.

At the time Kubota made these tractors, it was very rare to see a loader on such a small tractor. So they are not really ready to easily install a loader.

There are the aftermarket ones but as mentioned before, the price is just to much.

I also was looking for a loader when I had my B7000. Ended up building one myself. Which worked perfectly.

We could advise better if we knew more. You listed your location so snow is probably in your future.
But what do YOU want to do?
Do you need to load stuff on a vehicle?



Carry a log?


A scoop would help with neither.

I found several aftermarket loaders for my L2900, so they are available starting at around $6K for my little machine.

The tractor would reside mainly in the UP of Michigan where we have a cabin. I need it for snow removal during the winter months so the snowblower will be useful. I have driveway repair and maintenance on my gravel driveway(about 400' long) and then I need to do some landscaping/yardwork requiring some movement of soil. We also have some trails in the woods to work on and make. For those purposes I was desiring a loader.

I looked at tractors for years before finally just buying a new Kubota B2320 with loader (and I love it). Almost wrote a check for a JD 750 without a loader, but didn’t and found out I’d have to go aftermarket to get one on it.

If you’re patient you’ll run across a tractor with a loader. I did find a couple but opted for new as the $ difference wasn’t as much as you’d think for recent stuff. There are some good much older machines out there for much less than new but, as a guy who’s messed with a lotta machines but not diesel tractors I opted for new.

Tractor data.com lists no loader model for the B6100...actually no loader is listed for the next two progressions of the model...also no power steering which is important with a loader...!

IMO...with an aftermarket 3rd party loader the biggest issue might be the sub frame...

Dirt scoop is a good option as the tractor barely weighs 1000lb's...

You can maybe find a light weight front push blade to help with the dirt...is there any hydraulics on the snow blower?
