I read they have a new factory, producing up to 72/3HP tier 4 engines. But I don't see the engines in the XU or P series models I have been looking at. Perhaps the engines will start appearing in 2015 models?

Anyone know what these engines are like?

Take the 72HP P7010 as an example. I'm under the impression the Iveco (not from the Chiveco factory) is a solid engine. Would a Mtron engine be just as good?

In the XU series, they seem to use Shibaura engines. Will it be this series that gets the Mtron engines next year?

*edit* Looks like the new factory was completed in June this year so I guess it's unlikely there will be many engines coming through in 2014. But what of 2015?

I thought LS bought rights to the mitsubishi S4S, and SQ4L. I think that's what you will see come from that factory. HS

Thanks Fellas.

Perhaps they will stay with the Iveco engines in all the P-series, including the 7010.
Has anyone seen any reviews of the engines this factory is producing?

Do we know what the Mtron engines are using to meet tier 4 regs?

The article linked above states the new factory will produce engines from 30-70 hp that meet EPA tier 4 emissions in the US. I'd like to know if the designs are theirs or liscensed from someone else. Since they only kept the tier 3 mitsubishi engine in the one model that doesnt need to be tier 4, I doubt they kept the mitsu engines for tier 4. In an earlier thread, it was mentioned they switched to shibura for tier 4 due the difference in cost for the mitsu tier 4 engines above 25hp from what they used in previous model years.
