Chains Aquiline Talon Chains for XR (43-16x20)

Just wondered if anybody has these on an XR. They look very impressive, but...
I put a set on the rear tires, 43-16x20 and they are hitting on the inside part of the fender/body. Not above the tire, but on the inner side. Seems to be a little vertical steel lip on a plate that attaches to the body, where it hits. It is supposed to have 1.5" clearance and that should be good.
Maybe just needs a certain adjustment. Another 1/4 inch space would do it. I'm guessing these rear wheels do not have an adjustment for the wheel tilt.
If anybody has had the same problem and fixed it??....thanks.

I have the same chains on my Kioti with the same problem. I removed the binder/lever adjuster on the inside and replace it with a chain "add a link" This gave the clearance I needed. No more hitting last winter. Hopefully it will work for your LS. It solved my problem on the Kioti.

Thanks. But it is not the adjuster that is hitting. It is the cross chain links. It's funny though. One side is fine, the other side hits???? Already spent about 5 hours trying to adjust.
