Anyone\'s experience with M105s M105x, or M125x

I know most everyone hear works with the smaller tractors, including myself. But, I also work with a lot of larger JD tractors. I am considering replacing my 100hp JD and would like information on the M105s, M105x, and M125x. I am familar with the transmission options, but what any and all other's opinions before I make a purchase. Thanks for your honest experiences. I don't really want plain opinioins that aren't based on actual experiences.

The M105S has a tranny that takes time to break in, at first it drives rather rough. The X series is upgraded and from what I have heard they fixed many complains that people have with the M105S. Being that its a new model, and we have yet to get one in, I can't say any more.

We have sold some of the M105S's haven't gotten any negative feedback from the owners. We did some testing with Kubota and in fact most of the pictures in the M105 literature were taken during that testing. The V3800 is going to be the engine of the future in the big M's and it looks very good. The pull out A/C compressor to allow for radiator cleaning and flip up hood are good features. The 32F/32R transmission offers lots of gear choices. The new nose that resists debris clogging works real well to keep the temps down. These are some things that come to mind right off the bat. We just started getting in the M105X and M125X models and I haven't had enough time to figure out some of the transmission features yet. We haven't sold any yet but have some customers looking at them. Hope this helps some.

Thanks!!!!!!! Keep the experiences coming!!

If I understand things correctly, the 125X engine is different than the 105s,x other than displacement and # cylinders. It does NOT use the CDIS (center direct injection system), rather 125x is a direct injection.... Do you know WHY kubota didn't use the CDIS on the 125x????

Thats funny?! They told me that the tractor that I have is the one thats pictured in the literature.

I was referring to the original M95S/M105S literature pictures. Those tractors were her about a month for testing and photos and I'm sure they are long gone by now. Since I wrote the other day, it looks like we have sold 2 of the M125X's so maybe we will have some owner/operator feedback to share.

Yea, me too. They told me right before we got our first M105S that it had just been in MD for a photo shoot... I guess I should not be using that as part of the sales pitch for that machine any more /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have a M125X comming in 2-3 days thats going right out to a customer. Some good feedback should not be too far away.

Re: Anyone\'s experience with M105s M105x, or M125x

I don't want to seem impatient, but I am without a loader and would like to buy one this month.... If there is anyone who has imput on these tractors I would be greatly appreciative..

If you need specific questions: How are the tractors balance for heavy lifting with the loader? Are filled rear tires a must? I assume so, but want to ask.

How is the new operators station in the 125X? I sat in one and the right arm rest seemed too close? I know that it is adjustable and I played with it, but I wasn't too satisfied with the end result...

I DID like the rotated setting on the seat... That would be AWESOME for planting.

How about removing the loader... it looks easy... and it looked like you would need to do so in order to get any decent access to the engine?

How about adding belly tanks? Has anyone done this? In order to use it for planting I need to add belly tanks for my spray?

Does Demco or other tank company make a tank kit for this tractor?

How about duals??? Where can I see a picture of the tractor with dual? I would likely add dual rear wheels? How do they mount?

I have a lot of questions, but don't want to be Kubota's guinea pig /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I want a proven product.... OR, at least a product that people know something about.

Thanks for your imput!

I don't know of any internet forum that can answer the questions that your asking. This community is not frequented by many people in the AG industry.

I had a chance to run around the parking lot with our M125X, but thats not quite the same as what your asking for.
