I'm thinking about buying one and just wanted any feedback anyone might have on an LS XU6168CPS.
Good or bad.
Thanks

I don't own one, but have quite a bit of experience with them. We are an LS dealer and I've sold several of these tractors and their predecessor the XU5065CPS. Like I said I'm a dealer so take that for what's it's worth.....All I will say is that our customers have been very pleased with them. Most of them are being used for actual farm work (running disc mowers, running balers, running tedders and rakes, feeding round bales on a daily basis, etc...) Not really any issues thus far and most of them have seen several hundred hours of use over the last few years. In my opinion they are pretty much the best value for the money tractor in that size range on the market. My best advice would be to talk to the one or two closest LS dealers to you and see if they have sold some of these and could put you in touch with some of the customers they have sold them to. Also hopefully some owners will chime in with their experience.

I have one with around 300 hours. I am very pleased with it so far. I've had a few problems with it which were simple fixes the only bad thing is dragging it back to the dealer 150 miles away.

Problem:
1. Low power and regen coming on every 10 hours or so at first. Brought it back to the dealer and they adjusted the ECU with their computer. Fixed the low power and now regen is longer.
2. After adjusting the ECU for low power I dragged it back home and noticed whip lash like shifting from forward or reverse. So back to the dealer and 150 miles to have them adjust the computer that controls the power shuttle shift.

I shopped several brands with orange and green and red paint. For the features and power the price was unbeatable. The build quality is great. Although the seat isn't too comfy after bouncing around a few hours.

It looks like one person has problems with the loader bucket. It appears to be a light duty bucket and not strong enough for this size machine. He posted a thread under the owner/operator section.

I have a XR4040H. I've had problems with regen and getting stuck in limp mode. The mechanics still can't figure out a solution yet, two years later. That being said, the dealer (RCO Tractor) been awesome about trying to get things fixed. The tractor is there right now, as the bumper to bumper warranty is expiring soon, and their tryingto get things figured out before the end.

But, after two years with the Xr4040H, I found that I need something bigger and stronger with a cab, lol. So I'm probably going to trade this one in for a XU6168CPS, depending on price of course.

Just joined the forum today. I posted a question about noise from the transmission. The dealer currently has the tractor and is talking to LS about what to do next. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
