Anyone tried teeth on a rear blade?

I have a 6' rear blade that I would like to try with a ratchet rake or Piranha style profile for heavy brush clearance (Gorse). I figure you would offset it and use one end. Anyone tried it? Tractor is old-school, 2WD, 48 HP, 4000 lb. (I have no FEL and no plans for one.)

Most rear blades aren't built strong enough to handle hanging the blade on a root at the end/near the end of the blade. If you are looking for something to loosen roots, I suggest using something like this.

What Gary Fowler recommends would be my suggestion also. My M6040 with grapple, loaded rear tires and heavy duty Rhino rear blade weighs 10,100 pounds. Creating trails out thru the sage brush, on my property, I've been jerked up short when this heavy load meets a stubborn root. I ONLY use this setup - offset - when plowing snow. I fear being spun around like a top if I offset the rear blade while making trails out thru the pucker brush. My rear blade sticks back 56" behind the 3-point pins and, offset, has CONSIDERABLE lateral force.

And on top of all previously mentioned, there is the ever present concern regarding potential damage to the tractor, 3-point system or implement.
