Local dealer wants me to demo one was wondering if its even worth my time trying it out?

I ran one with a mulcher that belonged to a buddy of mine. He was trying to sell it and I was looking for a backup machine. I wasn't impressed with the hydraulic power, but it would have gotten me by for lighter jobs. Ultimately I didn't buy it, but not long after (around 200 hours on it) it had a total hydraulic failure.
