Anyone plow with your backhoe?

I don't have a backhoe, but if I wanted to use one to plow, wouldn't it be a little easier on the hoe to extend the boom and dipper out all the way and then curl the bucket to make the trench?

This just doesn't sound like a smart thing to do with a backhoe. I belong to the group that thinks you should use a tool for its intended purpose. Nothing more, nothing less.
