I tried tractor supply, but they don't have anything big enough. It looks to be 1.5" diameter and 4.5-5" long. I tried searching everywhere, even by part number, but no luck.
Also need the rubber boot for the later control lever. No luck there either. Newer machines don't have this same style once they went to joystick, so it doesn't seem to be a common item.

I order steel piece parts online from Huyett.com
They are also a good source for grade 70 chain & hooks. Much of it US made.
Sure enough, they have a clevis pin that size. 1.5"diam. X 6" long. $25.
It's mild steel - not sure what you want for temper.
Maybe weld or fasten a loop to one end or the other.

The swing pin was missing on my Kubota M59 backhoe too. Factory had a rod handle to grip from the seat to move from lock to store position.
Made one from the scrap pile. Think it was a 1” x 6” bolt, 1” square tubing and old hammer head. Hammer is sometimes handy tapping sticky pins.

Tried to order OEM pin from Messicks about $40. After about week they called and told me it would be delayed weeks because of shipping from Japan. Funny since I thought the backhoes were made in Georgia. Canceled order and went with plan DIY.

I would have cut off a section of thick rebar.

All the pins on loader and backhoe on the 580 B,C,D, E are 1-1/2" EXCEPT one on the hoe (don't recall which one) - THAT one is 1-3/4" diameter.

Prices have more than doubled since I bought anything (big surprise, what hasn't) - I bought a 4' length of 1-1/2" cold rolled (more accurate size) several years ago to make my own. Originals IIRC were hardened, for my purposes/usage I'll just put a new pin on if/when one gets too worn... Steve

Wow didn't think Ford used bigger pins than Case... the new to me old Ford 550 has 2 1/2 inch swing pivot pins which are worn Messicks price $304 and it takes two not including shipping. I have some old solid drive axle out of some type of large equipment just happens to be 2 1/2 inch diameter, think I will make my own as well.
