Apparently Mahindra has discontinued the 75B backhoe, mfg by Bradco, and went with a 65B because it fits a wider range of machines (read cut cost). From the very few pictures I can find it does not look nearly as heavy as the old 75B and the spec put the dipper digging force at 396 lbs less and the bucket breakout force at 1,781 lbs less!!! I'm also worried from the pictures that the breakover is very poor but I cant find any specs and on Mahindras website they still list everything with the 75B.

Also, in the second picture the operator appears to be sitting in a very awkward position.

This is very disappointing. I was nearing pulling the trigger on a 2555 with the 75B but now the whole thing is back to research and wait, at least until i can see one in person.

Well I'm getting mine on Thursday, I'll let you know how it is.

I couldn't find a dealer that has sold or has seen the 65B, guess I'm a guinea pig.

Thanks for any info you can give. Please attach pics if you can. I was going to run out to a dealership in Bloomsburg PA by the distribution center to have a look but they said they don't have any set up yet either, still on pallets. Very helpful people though on the phone. Explained to them while i wouldn't be purchasing from them because they are just too far away service wise, etc. i would like to drive out to have look. they were really nice and said come out and i could check out anything i wanted. Actually, I found the guys in Honesdale to be very helpful to me as well. Really nice guys. Been there a few times with many questions. VERY patient with me. test drove various models, etc. they had a nice pile of dirt so i could fool with loader etc. look forward to dealing with them if everything pans out.

Wish you the best with your purchase. I am making my list of things to do with it this winter, hopefully will pull the trigger late winter/early spring.

Started researching aftermarket cabs as well as I just won't be able to spend the coin for factory cab and it wouldn't fit in the shed anyway. Covermytractor seems decent.

I have one 65B and it's been out of commission more than I have used it, the cylinder that controls the bucket has bent 6 times. The first time 4 hours on backhoe 20 hours on the tractor, dealer said that Mahindra doesn't warranty cylinder but they would repair the shift but I would have to paid labor charges, because it took them 5 weeks they decided to cover the labor charges. Less than 30 minutes back on the farm it bent again, I straightened it myself the next 5 times. Mahindra has been giving me the run around and not returning my calls, mechanic at the dealership says that it's a bad design the cylinder is too small for the size of bucket that is sold with the hoe, hoe comes equipped with a 18" bucket. Dealer is upset that Mahindra is not responding to my voicemails so they said they were ordering a cylinder for me but when I asked if it could be larger they are suggesting lowering pressure, sounds like a bad deal for me.

Not good to hear, we have not put a lot of time on ours.

I was wondering if there was an update to the cylinder problem?

Not sure if it's a "problem", we have about 20 hours on ours doing a retaining wall project and no cylinder problems. We will see.

What does annoy the CRAP out of me is their is no cushion on the boom cylinder. And there is no way to slow the swing speed down like previous Bradcos.

good to hear so far you havent had issues with cylinder. I am going to PA to price out in a couple weeks 2555 hst open station TLB. I have been there several times including about a month ago when the temps were about 12 degrees. the 2555 started no issues with glow plug. ran fine after warm up. i might get a 3ft bucket and a trenching bucket. I wish they had a 65B on lot to look at. I was thinking of running out to Bloomingburg PA to check it out. I was also thinking whenever i do get the tractor to pull every electrical connection and coat with dielectric grease, especially those I saw under the floor boards and by the seat to keep water out. i read some of your posts, you seem to like the tractor except for the cusihon issue on the boom.

thanks.
