I thought most all tractors had PTO's, but anyway, they make a 3ph setup including hydraulic motor for situations like this. Here are some pictures.

You should know how much hydraulic HP your pump could put out.

Good idea but it's to heavy for a power king (I've got one also) Hydraulics on an unmodified PK is only about 1-7 gpm depending on which hydraulic pump you have. If you have a FEL then you will have approximately 5 gpm. Lift capability is only about 200 - 300 lbs on the 3pt. You'd be better off to get a DR tiller if that's what you are trying to do and modify it to mount to the existing cat 0 hookup. As an alternative you can also get implements designed to attach to an ATV. PK's are great tractors for what (and when) they were made. Mine is a 14hp with FEL. I think if I could get 100% traction it would pull a house down:). I still use mine in areas where my JD is to large.

Good luck

PowerKing made a PTO attachment at one time. I've never actually seen one installed, myself. I was at an auction a few years back where they were selling off parts, tractors, attachments, etc. from a PK dealership. There were pallets of stuff, and things that sort of looked like the PTO attachment, but in a case like that it would be pretty hard to pick out all of the parts you'd need to get a working PTO. Everything gets mixed together.

I do see them come up occasionally on Ebay. But, again a lot of time it's somebody selling off an estate or something that they just bought at an estate, and they know even less about it than I do--which isn't much.

I'd watch Ebay, or maybe look on Yahoo. . . . . There was a group devoted to PowerKings on there a few years back. There were some big collectors and really knowlegeable folks. Good Luck to you.

You might also post in the vintage tractor section. You might get some bites there.

Check out this site for the pto clutch. ServiceProParts.com It looks like they just use a standard eletric clutch like many lawn tractors. The Power King shown, uses a Kohler engine with the transmission drive coming out the back of the engine and the electric pto clutch mounted on the front. It should be a fairly simple matter simple matter to run a couple belts off it, to a shaft for front or rear pto . I was rather amazed when I saw the pto on a Cub lo boy I just bought, running off 2 belts on the back of the engine, but it runs the mower OK.
