Mahindra max 26xl hst
It seems after 15-30 minutes of working the max 26xl, it bogs down and tries to stall. It usually stalls all the way down to almost nothing and comes back slowly, but never gets back up to full power till I completely stop what I'm doing for the load. This happens mostly while using a 60 inch finish mower, but does happen with backhoe and loader too.

Forgot to mention it only has 20 hours on it and starting doing it at about 14.

Could be another problem, but it sounds pretty much like what my Mahindra was doing when the fuel in the filter gelled up last winter and restricted the fuel flow. Perhaps there's some blockage in the fuel line or filter?

Definitely check your fuel filter and also the fuel for any water build up. Also the air filter as stated.

I just purchased a new funnel for filling my tractor. It has a filter in it that allows the fuel to flow but prevents water from going through. Seems to work pretty good. Tractor Supply hells them and Amazin.

I found out there was a strainer in the tank that must have fallen in when I first filled up. Got it out and no problems since.

Well, I hat was anti-climatic... Glad you found the problem!

Was the strainer from the funnel or the fuel can? I cannot stand the new-fangled fuel cans with their cheap non-working "anti spill" strainer spouts. Drive me absolutely nuts. I've spilled more fuel using those darn things than I ever spilled using the old-fashioned lo-tech spouts. The\ new ones never work! You need 4 hands to use one. I cuss every time I use one. Absolutely useless. Rant over.

Lol I hate those too. Ridiculous. It wasn't from the can spout, it was the strainer in the neck of the tank that fell in, probably when I had to push down on the lip using the spouts you're talking about.
