Picked up a XU5065CPS with LS Loader and Backhoe in September. So far it has done everything well, except the fuel gauge is off and tank is a bit on the small side for extended operations. Also, the transmission range selector is a bit stubborn at times. R4s and 4WD work well for loader jobs and haven't destroyed lawn... I've been avoiding the mud... and it is just the right size for close quarters operations with good turning radius.
Not much to compare it against given my limited tractor experience, but the PS is easy to use (originally wanted hydrostat), the cab has been water tight and comfortable for one, suspension seat takes out most small bumps, and the self leveling loader a welcome amenity. Compared with the big name competitors, price was much less and avoided the DPF that comes on most Tier 4 engines these days. The trade off is a dealer that is farther away and questionable long term parts availability (no equivalent Case-New Holland model to my knowledge) but hoping/expecting LS sales and dealer network will continue to grow here in U.S. market and overseas.
Still haven't taken my BH off to use any PTO or ground engaging implements, but suspect tractor will meet/exceed expectations in all areas but fuel economy and engine noise at PTO RPMs. FE may improve as the engine breaks in (or when the gauge gets fixed!), but there isn't any adjustment to or economy PTO setting, and the 540 rating is near the top of the rpm range. I'd pick it again over the XR4046 for the leveling and higher capacity (height & weight) loader, bigger BH, plus the increased PTO HP and overall weight will allow me to run a larger bush hog and hopefully expand into 5x4 or 5x5 hay baling. I liked the Kioti RX series better, but adding stuff that comes standard on LS inflated price past max. budget and the local Kioti dealers didn't earn my confidence. That and the LS blue has grown on me. I have no hesitation to recommend LS or the XU5065 if you can find a dealer you like.
