Has anyone used Tar River plows? I saw a video about them from Good Tractors and checked out their site. They have some nice looking plows that you can get with hydraulics.

Never heard of them but not impressed by my visit to their site. The info on the site is really limited. Specs would indicate there's really some steel in them at the weights shown.

However, the blade has an inexpensive-looking two quick shots on a press brake appearance rather than rolled/curved like most snow plows. Top edge looks like a raw edge without the strengthening return bend most have. Can't see how the bottom edge is or isn't reinforced. Nothing mentioned on skid shoe adjustment. Picture makes it look like the FEL arms nearly drag on the ground. "Serious Duty" would be kind of cute, but is overused and doesn't prove much. If they can't tell me the price, i won't send a request asking.

Beaver Valley Supply Company has all the Tar River specs. and prices for the entire line up of the snow blades.

Insufficient info to evaluate. Must not be a dealer in my area. Dealer locator came up with "0".

A quick review of their web shows they manufacture a lot of what appears to be decent implements - the plows seem well made / assembled - a 72" plow at over 800lbs. I'm assuming would be a decent pusher - it's a full trip like most of the universal mount units - springs seem well located on the board - cylinders seem well mounted - mold board bracing is well done - if I was looking for one I'd take a look - Like many, I've owned many plows - had dozens of accounts both commercial and residential - was a factory rep for a plow manufacture for awhile as well - I prefer a poly moldboard like the Hiniker and a trip edge rather than full tilt for my trucks - however for a compact tractor it's worth looking at.......

I'm going to check into then some more. They seem really well made. There are no dealers near me though so shipping would likely be quite high.

I never heard back from Tar River. I had received an email from Titan about a sale they were having so checked out their site.

I found a 79" Hydraulic plow for $1220.95. With purchases over I think $1,000 I got $100 off so I ordered the plow. It's currently on backorder but expected to ship on 1/10/20 with free shipping.

I can't wait to get it and give it a workout. I live in the snowbelt off Lake Ontario in NY so I'll have plenty of opportunity to put it through it's paces.

wassup8687 how do you like your titan plow ? I'm looking at getting rid of my snow blower and getting a plow for the loader. Also what are the pros and cons of a plow?

This one like most "factory built" don't float the plow;o.k.for paved surfaces ,not so much for gravel/dirt.
