I am considering purchasing a MTD 190-823 snowblower and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I dont want to buy something that will cause me problems. Can you guys tell me if they work well and if there is anything I should expect with using them.

I understand the 190-032 is the same blower, with included brackets to fit a few more tractors.

If it is built by MTD I wouldn't buy it. I've had nothing but problems with this brand. Not familiar with the snow blower but the mfg says it all for me.

I have an 8HP MTD walk behind 26" sno thrower. From all that I can gather listening to others talk about the various throwers they have on their tractors I can only assume that that my MTD is of superior design. Never a bit of trouble and it goes thru a foot of any snow wetordry as fast as you can walk while throwing it 40-50 feet. I do 4 passes to clear my 1mi drive in 1 hour. Uses about 4.5 quarts of gas - definitely not a fun proposition on the 2nd return leg since it only holds a gallon. If MTD can make them for a tractor as well as they do a stand alone they would be hard to beat.
