Anyone have a ZG23? Looking to buy one.

I am looking at a 2006 ZG23, 54" deck, with only 89 hrs on it. I'm in Canada so prices are a little higher here he's asking $7000 OBO. Too much? Good machine? I know the ZG20 or 23 have the Kohler commercial motors and not the Kubota motors as the new "ZG222". Life expectancy? Any help/comments?

Not a 23, I have a ZG20. I think it's a good little machine. But I only mow about 2/3 of an acre, so even after 4 years, I don't even have 50 hours on it. I know at the time (December of 2005) I paid a little under $6000 for it. I live on the side of a mountain and 20 hp is enough to run me around pretty well.

I just paid for mine today 4395.44 with tax.It has 201 hours on it and I also hope its a good unit,we'll see.I will try it out tomorrow and let you know what I think of it.
