I'm looking to build one and would like to get some pics of a single or double axle. The axle preferred is a torflex type(not a leaf). These trailers typically have the short fat tires under a flat deck. I haven't seen many(any) down here at trailer places in the past. Probably because they are typically used for snowmobiles. I'm looking mainly for pictures of the frame and torflex mount and what is the standard start angles for these trailers. Also tire size and such. I'm thinking I might make it a tandom with a couple 2200# axles so I can carry the l2500 when ever I need to. It seems there is a little more science to these axles than a slap up and weld leaf type.
I've got a 5x12 that I made with a 3500# axle that will probably carry the tractor (2200# or so) for a short distance. But I should have made it 14' to carry 2 atv's, it'll only carry one atv and a riding mower now.
Also found this web site with some nice general trailer info. Web Site
If you have some pics PM or email to rob_n_houston@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Rob
