Ok well that a good sign about how long have you been seeing them around

family member has one.

Overall likes it. ground clearance when fully dumped and driving forward is a bit tight sometimes

ps. How is the Branson 4720H treating you?

Thanks that is all good news I will be looking into getting a Maxxd now.

The Branson is going great only thing I would trade a little more bucket curling power and have it move slower. The curl just seems fast I do a lot of unloading trucks

Did a bit more checking on how the MaxXD is working since they have been using it a lot lately

some observations

1) The gooseneck hitch fits looser than any other trailers we have used... It clunks back and forth a fair amount on the ball - does not seem to be any way to adjust out the play
2) Battery charging module has failed so batteries need to be recharged from an actual battery charger
3) Battery boxes get dust and dirt in them since the diamond plate has no actual seal
4) angle iron stiffeners that run horizontally down the box are only stitch welded and are apparently caulked and then coated, not continuous welded
5) The back of the box edge that is driven over when loading a skidsteer/ tractor is driven on is not welded near the center to the lower main structural bar this allows it to bow slightly when being loaded which also allows the doors to shift during loading.
Just a couple triangle coupons welded between the two rectangular steel cross members would cure this and will be added. May be a job for me since I have the assortment of welders.
6) Axle placement seems a bit far forward for loading the skidsteer and possibly tractors -although we have not tried loading a tractor yet.
It is hard to get much tongue weight on the trucks rear axle when the load is more rearward. May need to try reverse loading the skidsteer
7) Rear bed pivot point might have worked better and given more dumped bed to ground clearance if it had been designed with a slightly longer lower frame and pivot point mounted further back on the actual bed.

Overall, it works well and has plenty strong hydraulics/lift, tows well (other than the gooseneck ball play) and is getting used a lot.

ps. I did ask for complaints and what could have been done better.
