Looking to get some measurements for the bracket between the blade and quick hitch. Building a new stainless steel plow and trying to get some dimensions off a JD bracket. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it :anyone:

I guess no one plows with their JD's.

Easy Doug. Didn't see this thread originally.

Not sure what measurement you are needing. But for starters, the distance from the back of the moldboard to the center of the latch pins of the QA is 6 7/8".

Ask away and I'll try to take all the measurements you need.

Here's some pics of the QA bracket that fastens to the moldboard.

Hi Richard, I surely appreciate your help. I actually had a complete setup but someone stole it. I was able to purchase a hitch REAL cheap :) I'll try to take it easy. Width, height and depth of bracket. Top rod to latch pin hole(hitch side). Blade side of bracket to center of top rod/latch pin hole. Top of bracket to center of pivot rod. I would've like to been able to just buy another blade but I haven't found one and JD wants between $500-$600. I have most all of the material to build one and just want to get the bracket as close to OEM specs as possible. Much thanks for the help.

Width, height and depth of bracket = 16.25" , 10.5" , 7"

Top rod to latch pin hole(hitch side) = 7"

Blade side of bracket to center of top rod/latch pin hole = 5.25"

Top of bracket to center of pivot rod = 1"

Let me know if you need more.

Nice job Kenny  Thanks for the measurements Richard. Gonna get started on this after the Holidays. In the process of redoing a Western plow on the plow truck. I'll get some pics up as soon as I can. I'm not much of a fabricator but I'll do my best. I can rebuild a CAT, Detroit or Cummins in my sleep but fab work still stumps me a bit. Again, thank you for the help and visual aides.
