I'm looking to put a rear remote valve on my B3200 and I'm not interested in spending the $700 that Kubota wants for it. However, I would like a nice, clean, factory appearing setup. I was wondering if anyone had the Kubota rear valve on their tractor and could provide some pics and any info on how it taps into the tractor hydraulics (w/ loader valve.)

I put a rear remote valve on my Ford Jubilee by milling out a new hydraulic accessory cover plate and plumbing in a standard open center valve. I simply re-routed the fluid that goes to the 3pt hitch through the valve. This works fine on the primitive hydraulics of the Jubilee however when I pull the lever on the valve it does interrupt the fluid flow to the 3pt.

I feel like an open center valve with Power beyond would be better for my Kubota, (with the power beyond going for uninterrupted 3pt hitch usage) however I'm not sure how to plumb it in.

Any info, pics, input would be great. Thanks.

There are plenty of post's about this very subject if you search...But, to answer some of your questions:

You will need a valve with Power Beyond, you will feed it from the PB port on the loader valve to the IN port of the new valve. The PB port of the new valve will go to where the one from the loader valve went, and the OUT line can be Tee'd to the existing OUT line from the loader valve.

This all will cost about +/- $500 or so, so if the "factory look" is that important...the Kubota option is not that far off base.

Thanks for the reply. I did search some before posting, but only with limited success, I guess I wasn't using the right terms.

I'll have to crawl under the tractor and take another look at the loader valve. IIRC, the power beyond port is what is going to the 3pt hitch now, although its been a while since I've looked under there. If this is the case, would it hurt anything to just plumb a standard open center valve in-line between the PB out on the loader and the input for the 3pt hitch? i.e. PB Out from loader valve to In on spool valve, then Out on spool valve to In for 3pt. The 3pt hitch is neither load sensing nor position control, so its only active when I pull the lever anyways. Thoughts?

It is best to use a PB valve whenever possible, it's only one extra hose and very easy to do on the Kubota machines...JD's are a different animal!

In the hydraulics forum, search the term "remote". There are LOTS of threads, maybe not your exact machine-but the idea is the same none the less...

Something to keep in mind, is that the first valve inline after the pump that operates a lever will take some or all of the fluid flow for the valve work ports. If you only use some of the flow, then the extra will go downstream to the next valve, and so on. .

i don't have the remote on mine but i did put a hydrolic loop on it. i believe red4now has the factory remote on his. if you do it yourself you will need a british pipe thread adapter for the input to the 3pt hitch. i don't remeber what size it is though. The other end on the valve bank used a jic fitting.

As NH-Rob suggested, If you do a search for red4now I have posted some pics showing the Kubota setup / install for the B3200 and dual remotes. Let me know if you have any questions.

I am seeing alot of pictures of the rear hydraulics for a Kubota B3200 but none of the pictures are showing the lines hooked up to the pump. I just got a Kubota Kit(I know I could have pieced it together cheaper). the kit has 3 lines going to the valve. the instructions that come with the kit are terrible and the pictures in the instructions are worse than the verbage. does anyone have a good picture showing where the 3 lines in the kit go on the pump and return? I am seeing 2 lines in some of the pictures but I cannot tell where the third line goes. Hope someone can give me some help.

Apparently your tractor does not have a hyd blk, and the OUT hose is the pressure line for the next valve.

They must consider the loader OUT port high pressure. So if there have been no failures, then is should be OK.

Using these pictures, the flow comes form the pump and goes to the loader valve and from the loader valve to the 3pt.

You need to remove the hose going to the 3pt and install it into the IN port of your remote valve.

The PB adapter flow will go to the 3pt IN port, and the OUT/tank line from remote will go to tank.

Are they pulling pressure off the rockshaft for the loader valve?
