If anyone's got a Branson tractor with the BH150 backhoe, would you please measure the bucket connectors?

My tractor (3520h) has a "BH76" backhoe. Love it, dig it. Unfortunately, I've only got the one bucket, and in my (most of the year) hard clay+rock ground the 12" bucket doesn't dig very well.

BXpanded makes a quick-connect backhoe bucket connector for BH150.... Backhoe Bucket Connector for Branson Backhoes
and they also make a Back Hoe Ripper for Branson Tractor Backhoes ripper.

If the BH76's bucket interchanges with the BH150, I could get the bxp's BH150 stuff.
I'd love to get a narrower bucket, and a ripper tooth would be fantastic as a first pass a lot of the time (particularly in the summer when the clay gets baked); being able to quickly swap between tooth & bucket would make digging a lot quicker.

I remember ages ago having asked bxpanded what the measurements are of their attachment because they didn't have a Branson size, and I was curious if their Kubota BH76 attachment matched the Ansung BH76, but they wouldn't give an answer, and I haven't been close enough to a Kubota backhoe bucket to measure their pin spacing either.

So, hoping to see if the BH150 is a match (or - if you've got a Kubota BH76/BH77 and you're skulking about the Branson forum, I'd love to get your bucket size as well!).

Hi ning,
That's a great attachment. I think I could use those attachments as well. I assume "the" original bucket mounts to the adapter? I went to the site and did not see any measurements or want to provide my email in order to get the question answered. One would think they would provide this information as it could increase sales. If you find out, please keep us posted

My backhoe is an older Branson/Kukje 7620 made byAmeriquip. Here are some measurements for your BH150.

I believe you pin on the adapter to the end of the dipper just like the original bucket was (ie, unpin the bucket and pin the adapter on in its place) semi-permanently (drift punch etc); you place a pin in the backhoe bucket as normal (but without the dipper being in there) and the quick-on connector will grab on this pin with the "hook" part and then another pin is slipped through (slightly more loosely... until that pin bends?) the other backhoe bucket hole + connector hole and secured with the lynch pin.

Obviously there's a slight change to the system geometry because the bucket is mounted a couple inches farther out (the hydraulics operate as normal but the bucket(s) is effectively longer).

Every attachment (bucket, ripper) that you attach to the dipper in this fashion needs a "quick change pin" (you could share them but we all know what happens when you try to be thrifty by sharing pins between attachments, don't we?).

My backhoe is an older Branson/Kukje 7620 made byAmeriquip. Here are some measurements for your BH150.

Thanks for that - I'll go measure my BH76 bucket after work today.
Ground here is getting harder by the minute, I could really use that ripper for a planned dig!

I've verified the 1" pins (C&D) and 5 3/4" between holes (between wings) on the upper connection (A).
I'll have to hook up hydraulics as my backhoe isn't on the tractor and the back of my bucket is solidly in gravel so I can't measure (B) and (E); (E) is very likely also 5 3/4" as the wings are parallel.
My guess is that that's a match but will determine more later.

I'm still curious if the Kubota BH76/77 have the same bucket sizes.
