Anyone got a Rnger HD?

Anyone have one? How well do they hold up? Any attachments up front?

If not, any test drives?

For those of you who don't know, an HD is pretty much the same as an XP but has power steering, better suspension, a little heavier built, option for attachments up front, and $2k more.

I traded a 2007 Ranger XP Silver LE for the new HD. I love the power steering. I use the Ranger to haul wood every other day in the winter and the self leveling rear suspension keep the machine level when full of firewood. I don't know if it is critical feature as my 2007 handled the same loads just fine. Now I just go down the road with the rear end not squatting as much. But the power steering makes backing up to the wood shed a handed affair.

So are you glad you went with the HD? instead of sticking with the XP? Was it worth the $12-$13k?

TCowner, I am not trying to dispute you. I am sure the power steering is great. But that being said, the '09 Ranger XP has improved steering over the '08's. Plus some other nice upgrades. I'm not sure I spend the extra $$$ for the HD, but it's whatever suits your needs best.

I wouldn't just get the HD over the XP either...but the front attachments are what have me going.
