25 gal. countyline trailer sprayer
I was thing about getting one of these to spray my large yard for bugs ( the blood sucking kind) as well and and area out back about 2 acres for posion ivy. My father would like to use it on his large lawn for weed n feed. just looking to see if anyone has bought one in the past.

They also sell a 15 gal one built by someone else for sale $20 cheaper.

My neighbor loaned us one that he had just bought from TSC. It was a boom sprayer instead of a spot sprayer. We used it the first time we applied weed & feed to our 3 acre yard, pulling it behind a garden tractor. I would say it did fine for that application. I now have a 55 gallon one for the 3 pt hitch which is faster because you don't have to fill it so often and it sprays a wider swath, but the other one is ok on a limited area. I would say from what you are describing that the boom version would seem more the application method to use vs the spot sprayer, but maybe I don't understand what you are trying to do enough. On the one I put on the back of my tractor, I bought a spot sprayer wand, so can use either. I use it to spray the ditches or spray trees with insecticide and use the boom application for the overall yard.

I now took a closer look at the picture and a couple of the reviews and see that it has both the spray wand and a boom, so I would say it would be a good thing to have on a couple of acres. The size will cause you to refill it several times, but that isn't that big of a deal.

We have used them and over time, they have held up well and gave good service. We keep one in the back of the Gator or Mule about all summer for spot spraying. Ken Sweet

Just remember to run at least a triple rinse through it after you use something like roundup in it or the next time you spray for bugs you'll end up with a strange looking lawn.

Also, if you leave it outside over the winter (or in an unheated space) DON'T forget to run some RV antifreeze through the entire system, including the wand and the sprayer nozzles.

If you don't, they will freeze and break and you'll be buying new ones. I ran it through the sprayer nozzles, but forgot to run it through the wand and had to buy one this year (not a big deal, $14 or so, but still....).

Also, on the one I have (which is not exactly like that one, but similar) the power wire was not long enough and kept getting caught under the trailer tire when I turned corners. So, I bought a 1 foot extension from Autozone that plugged right in, and made up a standoff for the wire. Problem solved.

Mine is a Fimco, the County Line models may not have the same issues, but you will still need to winterize it.

I have the smaller 15 gallon size that I mount on the rear of my ATV to spray fence rows. Does decent job for what I use it for. I mix up some RV antifreeze and run through system until pink liquid comes out nozzle when i store it over winter season.

Do you rinse with plain water?
