rockjaw.com ... I came across this on the internet. Kind of like a big pair of log tongs for picking and setting rocks. Thought it looked kind of interesting. Anybody with any experience? Apologies...I'm not too computer savvy.

Built one myself, worked but was a pain.

Hydraulic thumb works better faster.

if you have a guy to place and work the tongs, fine, one man on a machine, no.

I made a large set of tongs for building the rock walls around my place over 20 yrs. ago and they worked very well for placing rocks. I only used them for the large rocks I couldn't handle and set in place by sliding them out of the bucket.
They had a swivel & I found if I lifted the rock correctly I didn't have to get off to turn it to get it in place. I've never seen or knew they made them commercially.
