Anybody here ever make money gambling?

I get it, as my parents were never into going to Atlantic city (where all these bus trips went to).

That said, if you're in your 70's, don't drive much (if at all) and live by yourself because your spouse has died, what is boring to some can be an adventure to others.

I forgot what the total trip cost was, but for round trip ride to Atlantic city and what trinkets came with the (like food), I remember talking to my uncle about it, and honestly didn't seem like a bad deal to waste a day and get out of the house.
It would be OK as long as you’re not an addictive personality that gets hooked on gambling on that one trip and then cannot control themselves thereafter

Never thought of myself being the prone to addiction type but not so sure with TBN...

At least it keeps me off the streets...

Friends have said just how interesting can tractors really be???

I’ve only owned two tractors in my life only been on four different tractors in my life and if I sold my bobcat tomorrow, I’d probably never be on another one

My personal take on casinos is quite mixed. I've seen firsthand how they can bring excitement and fun to an evening out, especially when the energy in the room is electric with anticipation. But, there's also the sobering reality that for some, it becomes more than just entertainment, veering into problematic territory when losses pile up. For those looking for entertainment without the risk, exploring online options like judi bola can offer a different kind of thrill, focusing more on skill and knowledge of the game rather than just luck. This approach might suit those wary of traditional casino pitfalls while still enjoying the competitive aspect of betting.

Reading through this thread, it's clear that the gamble of gambling can be a slippery slope. While there are folks out there who make money from it, the odds aren't always in our favor. As they say, "the house always wins." Still, there's something to be said for the thrill of a game or two when you set strict limits.

In terms of online casinos, have any of you tried your luck with crypto gambling? There's a site called crypto-casinos.com that seems to be getting some attention.

While I'm not here to pitch anything, I think crypto casinos add a new twist to the old game. The speed and anonymity might appeal to some, but it’s still essential to tread lightly.
AI is getting way to good nowadays for online forums;)

Either go to get some decent food, a couple hours on slots and walk out lighter for 'entertainment' purposes or go in to win.
Only two games you can ever win at are poker and craps but you have to know what you're doing. Bet with the house on craps, always. You won't make the rest of the people happy doing that but just quietly stack your chips 😇
Triple Crown has some great betting opportunities but the real money is getting trifectas and superfectas, and knowing when to sit out as there's just no odds decent enough to pull real money out. You need to know your jockeys, when horses arrive at the stables and how they're settling in, the trainer, watch their breezes, even who's feeding and grooming them down to if they have a favorite 'barnyard cat' they travel with - and was it left at home 🤣. Anyone raised around farm animals - including horses - knows that 'small' things can get them peevish lol.
Forget the fancy racing sheets and handicappers. I've pulled good money out of 'nags' everyone discounted. It's not the favorites that are going to bring you your money, it's the sneaky Petes coming from the rear and middle of the pack you have to line up behind a clear favorite to win.
