Anybody have the \"Dethatcher\" attachment?

Hey guys!

Been a while since I've visited...between crazy work and a 1 yr. old daughter...well, not much time left for surfin' the tractor site... /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Does anybody have this dethatcher attachment. See Power-trac landscape/dethatcher attachment.. This thing looks like it would be absolutely ideal for cleaning up leaves. It looks like the tines are spun by a hydraulic motor to sweep leaves or whatever into the bucket, then the tines can be lifted out of the way by the hydraulic cylinder to dump the bucket. Awesome! I'll bet it's > $1000 though...

$1900 according to their price sheet. You better have lots of leaves to sweep for that kind of money.

for that money you can get you a leaf plow from jerco jerco and a powerfull leafblower from little wonder . with this system we cleanded about 35 acres last week. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Off this subject, do you use rubber lips on your snow blades when doing commerical work?

we cut a trucktire sides off and use the running surface, to make our rubber lip. we use the blade for small dozing jobs and snow removal without ever removing the rubber.
