Anybody ever completely change over a chinese backhoe to all SAE, fittings, cylinders etc?

I don't have a backhoe but know a guy who did just what you said. The answer to your question is buy a new backhoe and sell this one on the net.
He put Prince valves, Prince PTO pump, all new hoses, and all new cylinders. He never said what he had in it but looking at the prices of each part I have a good idea. About $2500 when all said and done.
