A while ago I was using my tractor to move snow when it ran out of diesel. I filled the tank promptly but now I am getting loss of power for example when I tried to use the loader it actually has stalled out a few times.
I went through the owners manual and located and tried the air bleeder screws on the back near the filter and the bleeder on the injection pump on the engine. It did exactly when I expected. When I got to the engine I could see the air bubbles coming out of the fuel line going to the pump.
The only comment I have is I have repeated this a good 5 or 6 times now, each time bleeding out a little bit of air. I'll bleed the air out, run the tractor for a while and then it starts to shut down again, and I bleed it again. Then I keep running.
Is there any way to really bleed out all of the air? I am just worried that there is lots of little air bubbles potentially trapped inside the fuel system that I haven't hit yet.
The fuel in the tank is clean and I use addititive to the fuel so prevent gelling and foaming. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
